An assignment duty nurse goes in search of her live-in boyfriend a successful photographer to the Church run psychiatric institute after he has a psychotic break. With the help of her lover she receives a temporary assignment at the institute where she learns that most of its patients aren't psychotic they're possessed and that the Church is exorcising as many of them as they can.
